BRYCE LENON (Paul, Caiaphas, Herod, others)

Bryce is the author and director of Acts the 3-Man Show. He holds an MFA in Theatre from Temple University and has been working steadily in stage, film, and TV for over 15 years. He has guest-starred in 24, Cold Case, Lie to Me, Crossing Jordan, and had a recurring role on The Division. Bryce is also the featured narrator for Gustav Hoyer’s groundbreaking Orchestra Unleashed, where he recently headlined a dramatic presentation of Rime of the Ancient Mariner accompanied by a full orchestra behind him.

Bryce’s passion is to glorify Christ with his talents and to produce truly professional, biblical dramas for the stage. Acts the 3-Man Show is born out of a desire to live the words of Luke 9:23, a sober reminder that we must be willing to give our lives for the Lord at any moment, any day.

Bryce is married to a wonderful woman, Abby, and has three children, Calvin, Owen, & Piper. He is a  member of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA.

VINICIUS MACHADO (Nero, Stephen, Mark, others)

Vinicius, a Brazilian born actor, has numerous stage and film credits to his name and has guest starred in TV shows including CSI Miami, Southland, Flashforward, The Shield, Cold Case, and had a recurring role on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.

He is married to Luz, his beloved wife, and a devoted father to two sons, Pablo and Israel. He thanks his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because Christ alone atoned for sin and saves from the wrath of God (Luke 13:3) that is to come. Vinicius has a great desire for all to know the Lord and hopes to exhibit the same boldness in his faith that Stephen did before his death.

Vinicius is profoundly grateful to have the opportunity to serve the Lord with his abilities in this show, and looks forward to ministering to the many people who will see it.

JD JACKSON (Peter, Julius, Barnabas, others)

JD is an educator, actor, book narrator, writer, but most importantly a God-fearing family man. Currently an Adjunct Professor at Los Angeles Southwest College, he has an MFA in Theatre from Temple University and several TV and movie credits to his name including guest-star roles on House MD, ER, Law & Order, Third Watch, and a recurring role on Hack. He has also recorded numerous audiobooks and recently received an Audiophile Earphone Award for his work on Sharon Draper’s Just Another Hero.

He has found a “good thing” in his wife, Kenya, and is inspired by his sons Solomon, Langston, and Johnathan. Philippians 4:6 is a favorite scripture that has reminded him of God’s peace and the safeguards it provides for his heart. No matter the circumstance, be thankful.

GUSTAV HOYER (Composer)

Gustav is committed to the advancement of excellence in the arts within the Christian community. His music has been heard in concerts, in film, and on radio around the world and has been released on award winning CD’s.

Born in Denver, his musical world was shaped upon first hearing the orchestral music of Beethoven. He has multiple degrees in music and has studied with some of the most celebrated composers of our time. He is the artistic director for Orchestra Unleashed, a project devoted to bringing the power and beauty of the orchestra to new audiences.

Gustav is happily married to Nancy and has 5 amazing children.
